Learning to Live Life with a Full Heart

Time to Get Up?

April 23, 2011

Lately I’ve found myself waking up at odd hours. I wake up once or twice a night to feed the baby and usually the last feeding is an early morning one, like between 5 and 7am. Sometimes I go back to sleep and sometimes I get up for the day.

Today is different.  It’s 3am and I woke up before Lorelei and am really wishing it was 7am and I could just get up for the day. How shitty will today be if it starts 4 hours earlier than it should? Why the heck am I wide awake!?

Perhaps its because I really needed to shower before bed, but it was out of the question. I remember having a bad dream that initially woke me up, but can’t remember the details except the kids and I were at Publix. Strange…

Well Lelu just woke up and I’ve finished feeding her. The routine of it (I guess) has made me a little sleepy again. Maybe a few hours more of sleep is a good idea, especially when I get to cuddle with my sweetie pie…oh and Jason.  ;o)

Hey, you.

Hey, you.

I'm a mom of four in a step family, co-parenting (sorta) with the ex and wandering through life pondering the big stuff, little stuff and everything in between.

What to expect…

This is a place for me to ponder out loud those things that are still screaming in my head and have gotten passed the journal and my hubby. As well as document milestones along our family journey.

I hope things read here find a connection with you.

I tend to talk about yoga, friendship, chickens, puppies, my kids, trips we take, decisions we make, school and the occasional rant (though I try to delete those before I hit “publish”).

Love is a Place

love is a place
& through this place of
love move
(with brightness of peace)
all places

yes is a world
& in this world of
yes live
(skilfully curled)
all worlds
